Ink
Sublimation Printing ink is the key material of dye sublimation printing technology which is mainly composed by the disperse dyes, connecting materials, solvents and a few additives.
The dye must have a good sublimation transferability and permeability to reach a certain fastness index. Molecular weight is 23O ~ 380 and sublimation temperature is 180 ℃ ~ 240 ℃. The common printing dye is anthraquinone dyes, azo dyes, and cationic dyes(cationic leveling agent).

Temperature and time
Dye sublimation printing technology requires temperature control in the range of 180 ℃ ~ 230 ℃, the time is about 10 ~ 30s, and at the same time pay attention to the reasonable deployment of temperature and time.

Pressure
Pressure is also one of the important parameters of dye-sublimation printing technology. If the pressure is appropriate, the gap between the flat fabric and transfer paper are suitable, the transfer coloring effect will be good with a clear pattern and smooth lines.

Other factors
In addition to ink, temperature, time and pressure, there are some matters during actual production process will affect the quality of sublimation printing.
Firstly, you should choose the printing paper from a big supplier with high quality and high credibility.
Secondly, it is recognized that the color difference of the dye ink before printing (the pattern on the transfer paper before heat application) and after printing (pattern transferred to the fabric) are big. Generally speaking, the dye ink looks dark and dull before printing. It relies on high-temperature of about 200 ℃ to restore true color.
Finally, you should ensure that the hot surface, the transfer paper and the substrate surface close to each other without any gap while thermal transfer. Otherwise, a blurred image may appear.
